Years ago while a student at Auburn-

Cruising down college street from Donahue towards East University on my motorcycle, I had a yellow jacket fly up my shorts and light my arse up, literally.

I was in the left lane (no median) with car surrounding me going 45 mph, no where to go immediately. After what seemed like an eternity (probably 30 sec), I was able to pull to the shoulder and drop my pants to release this very angry yellow jacket that has been relentlessly stinging the crap out of my right check.

I was so relieved to have that beast out of my pants, that it took me 20-30 seconds to realize that I'm now standing pantsless on the shoulder of College street in rush hour traffic.

I had to lay on my stomach for hours with tobbacco on my arse, I hate yellow jackets.

So when is the last time you got stung by a bee, wasp, yellow jacket, etc.??

I've never been stung by anything like that. A bite from a horse fly is the closest I've come. I avoid wasps, bees, etc. like a plague.

I parked a 4-wheeler on top of the hole of a yellow jacket nest; my dad and I went to hang a ladder stand for about 30 minutes. When I pulled off the hole to their nest, they were quite angry at us. We got swarmed, they were all up in our clothes, even in underwear. My uncle came and found our 4-wheelers running but we were no where in sight. He followed a trail of clothes to find us at the bottom of a hill in undies far, far away from those angry little effers. I watch where my tires are every time I stop a 4-wheeler now

Was waiting to start a zipline in Hawaii, and right after the guide said "If you look to your right on the second line, you'll see a huge beehive," I got stung on the back of the calf. I had a discolored spot on my leg for weeks.

Bee stings don't bother me too badly if I get the stinger out right away.

But a couple years I was in a swimming pool and this bet plopped down in front of me so I killed it, not realizing I was too late.

Later that day I got in the shower and felt like i was on fire when the water hit my back. Little fricker had stung me dead center between my shoulder blades. Couldn't pluck the stinger out until the swelling went down a couple days later.

"Fingers always seemed to be the worst place for some reason."

I haven't been stung in a long time but still remember getting stung by a wasp on my left pinkie finger when I was 10. My family had a place near the 1st green at Seascape in Destin when I was a kid and my brother and I would sneak out and hit golf shots into the green. I was gripping the club bare handed when a wasp I didn't see landed on the grip. Felt a sharp stinging and burning sensation and turned my hand over and saw the wasp unloading into my finger. Hurt like a son of a bitch. I had an allergic reaction where the finger that got stung broke out with warts.

Early 90's. Don't have them here (only honeybees) but thank god because I have an unnatural fear of stinging insects.

The sting of a tarantula hawk is shockingly painful and distressing. Easily the most painful sting I have ever felt.

A wasp flew up my tee shirt last summer. He stung the hell out of my stomach. I forgot how painful wasps stings are because the last time it happened, I was a kid. Two years ago my mom saw something leaking from her ceiling. It wasn't water but some thick substance. She any my brother went into the attic to investigate They discovered that her attic contained a huge honeybee hive. They immediately got out of the attic. Honey was the liquid seeping out of her ceiling. She had to call a professional to get the bees to leave. My mom belongs to a homeowners association. They paid for the beekeeper to remove the hive, reparing the ceiling and the cost to get rid of all the honey that was on the floor of the attic.

A few years ago I was playing kickball with my friends. They kicked the ball into a tree so I went to catch it when it fell out. When I catch it I immediately feel like a whole bunch of sharp pine cones fell on my neck but it turns out the ball knocked an entire wasps' nest out of the tree and it fell on my neck. Wasn't very fun

This is the last place I was stung as well... By a hornet ... fricker came out of nowhere... Inside a house at someone's engagement party of all places ... I was pissed.

Man. your post gave me the chills. I had one wasp sting last summer and it hurt like hell. I can't imagine a whole nest of wasps falling on top of me. I'm glad that you came out ok, because numerous people have died when a colony of wasps stung them.

Red wasp is the debbil.

They'll come at you if you even look at them wrong.

Pack a punch, too.
