Interstate commerce act of 1887 I think.

Not constitutional but still law.

This is just the next drug to be crushed and then injected into their veins. Seen one die from it and another with a septic infection and overdose.

Oxy 60's and 80's are still stronger, it's just another pill. The potential for abuse is there, but there will be people who benefit from it.

Article says 10 times more tga4n a reg vicodin, but vicodin comes in different sizes.. At 50mg, it's still weaker than oxycontin, which can range from 10 to 180mg.. Way stronger.

Buddy gave me a 20mg Oxycontin one time. I couldn't get off the couch all day, but I felt all nice and fuzzy. Can't imagine taking something stronger than that, but I guess if you've built up an immunity it wouldn't hit as hard.

But they don't make oxycontin in the same formula anymore I don't believe.

I am pretty sure they changed the formula so that the pills couldn't be as easily abused, there is now something in the pill that makes it very difficult to snort, smoke or shoot.

If this new pill doesn't have any of those problems, it will be very popular.

I may be wrong but I actually think Oxycontin was created because the pill before it was able to be crushed and snorted, shot up, etc. Oxycontin is time released so the opoid has a coating on it. The previous pill was immediate release.

I may br wrong on that though. Either way, current Oxycontin is time released and it's hard to remove that time release coating.

Older oxycontin was time released and had a coating on the outside. However that coating was removed as easily as spitting on the pill and rubbing it with a paper towel or the bottom of your shirt. When oxy was starting to get real bad around my area, you would see little green streaks of coating on people's sleeves from where they had removed the coating. Once people started to get wise most used the underside of their shirt.

Once this coating was removed it could be crushed and snorted, broken off and "smoked" or freebased off of tin foil with a lighter and a straw, or broken down and injected. It really is remarkable how abuse friendly those pills were.

Now the coating is like throughout the pill so that the whole things turns into like a ball of wax or something.

Let's just say I went through some shite in my younger and dumber days, but I have emerged relatively unscathed.

Gotcha. I guess I was thinking the one with an outside coating was called something else, but I stand corrected.
