Braves when I was a kid, then the Marlins when they started playing, and then the Rangers after I moved to Texas.

Yankees, but the Braves are our "home team." Plus I was in Atlanta when they moved there.

Yankees since I was a little kid. A Yankee who had just been traded to make room for Yogi, had a sister who lived two houses up from us.

I yelled at him one day and he yelled back. Yankee through and through since then.

I would later get to covered Bobby Richardson's unsuccessful run as a Republican for the U.S. House. Yes, he is as nice as he comes across.

Nolan was my hero growing up. One of my greatest childhood memories is getting to watch him pitch in the Astrodome!
