Meh. 15-19 year olds are not children. I remember being a 15 year old girl.

I'll bet your dad thought of you as a child at that age.

I think it was okay for the dad to hit the teacher with a baseball bat, but only because the teacher showed up at his house and refused to leave.

If the father had sought out the teacher and beat him up with a baseball bat, that wouldn't have been okay. We have a justice system in place for a reason. What if it turned out that the teacher had a kid who was texting the girl from his dad's cell phone (unbeknownst to him). Or what if he was out with drinking with buddies and when he went to the bathroom, they started texting the daughter inappropriate stuff on his phone thinking she was a grown woman? Everyone deserves a day in court or whatever.

I coached a varsity girls basketball team. Occasionally would have to text the girls about rescheduling practice or the like. I didn't even feel comfortable doing that. I just made sure it was always a mass text. There's almost no reason for a teacher to text a student, unless it's a mass text to the entire class.

And a 15-year-old is a child. I'm guessing you're not a parent.

I had sex with a 15 year old back in the day. She seemed mature enough.

You weren't 42, though.
So there's that.

We don't know what the texts said and just like every messageboard and social media site in the country people are jumping to conclusions here. But what we DO know, if the story is factual, is the teacher showed up at the kid's house, father demanded he leave, teacher refused, father hit him with a baseball bat. The end. Completely justified.

Except the part where the guy had the opportunity to press charges.

Both can press charges. The dad for trespassing, the teacher for assault.

Right. I'm hoping Chazzy McRamzee is just trying to stir shite up, because the alternative is having bad thoughts about another ranter. And we just don't want to do that.

I feel the same way. I can deal with stirring up shite. In fact, I even like Killz, Stacked and Straws. The bad thoughts I'm having about Chazzy, though, I don't like.

Yes, but I'm not raising my girls to be sloots when they're 15, so...

Pressing charges?

Go for it.

Texted a 15 year old then showed up at her house? There's a better chance a member of the jury will hit him over the head with another bat right in the middle of the trial than there is of him being convicted.
