To those who think he's doing this to get another show: he is trying to cancel the apprentice, and is currently in a fight with NBC over it.

He may have started only half serious, but I think he is totally serious now.

The recent GOP work to get the Iran deal passed while seeming to vote against it has decided things for me. I will vote for trump or not at all.

I wanted Rand Paul, but he has no shot now. So my vote is going towards Ben Carson.

No. I think he'll have us in another war by the end of his first year.

Any American president not named Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich would likely have us in a war in a year. The two parties are each beholden to the MIC. Look at the policy positions of Rumsfeld, Cheney, Samantha Power and Susan Rice..almost the same. That's what hilarious about the kabuki theater that is American politics..there is almost no difference between our two parties on almost all foreign policy issues.

I'd think you anti-war types would like trump on this issue. He hasn't supported a single military action but Afghanistan since Vietnam.

His popularity is an indictment on the voting public. He still hasn't articulated a single policy issue, but people are flocking to him because he's not PC? Seriously? That's the current litmus test for a segment of the voting public when it comes to POTUS? You just want someone that says misogynistic and borderline racist BS, while not mapping out a single policy issue he'd push for?

Actually, he's released detailed plans on 3 issues to date. Which is 3 more than Hilary or Jeb.

I think he's opening an interesting door. People seem to like him because he's not a politician. I can understand that. Politicians are shady, dishonest, and untrustworthy by nature. But do we as a people really want Donald fricking Trump calling the shots? I like the idea of a non politician doing good, but he isn't the right guy. There are probably a lot of people out there who never set foot in the political arena that would be outstanding presidents. I think Donald is showing that that kind of move is possible, given you have the money. I like the idea, I do not like the reality of Trump being CIC.

Do people really think he will be a good president?

Not sure he'd be any worse than anyone else in my lifetime.
