You're asking people to believe that the universe came from nothing one day, even though energy doesn't create itself. Then, lightning struck dead organisms in the little warm pond and brought them to life, beginning evolution.

I don't think the universe came from nothing. I don't know where it came from. And though I'd like to, I don't have to know. But from nothing, no.

Hey one of them happened

Why do you limit the possibilities to only two things?

The problem with the big bang theory is that it is as hard to believe as the creation theory.

Some people believe that God created everything.
Some people believe that the universe was created from nothing, the big bang,

except that there is no way to rationalize that something came from nothing. Everything we know has a beginning and an end. Life, the length of a ruler, the distance we can throw a rock. But because someone says there was a big bang and the universe was created is more difficult to explain than there being a being (God) who has always been, who created the world.

So if we believe in the principle of Occam's razor it is easier to believe in God than in the big bang. If someone believes in the big bang, then what possibly could have created it? And where did that come from, and keep going back until you find that it was God who started it all.

You don't have to believe the Big Bang theory or any other possibility in order for it to be true. Except yours of course.

Occam's razor

You're limiting yourself. Occam's razor says in a situation with two possibilities it's usually the simpler of the two. But there's infinite possibilities. We're restricted from understanding what's beyond our comprehension, that doesn't mean only two things could've happened and since you think God's the simpler of the two it must be that.

Your probably a young guy who's read too many theorized religion and creation books. You should try comedy or action or something. And try to relax.

That's me. Just a young lad with his Ryrie Bible and paperback copy of Mere Christianity.

Lol Atleast you respect the books you don't believe in. There's something inside you after all. Besides, you know, organs and stuff. :)
