You should have just avoided that whole fiasco and executed a plan of just punching the kid, taking their shite, and explaining to them that there shouldn't be a police force or laws to protect them.

Matter of fact, it's only 7:20, I'm going with that plan from this point forward.

A lot of the people that come build houses in my neighborhood always bring their kids here for Halloween. The kids are surprisingly very polite. And of course the neighborhood kids come around, but not many. About 15 knocks tonight. Hope everyone is having a fun Halloween

So I usually get 10 on a Halloween. I've gotten a ton This year. Is it better to turn the light out or give out awesome chocolate finer one bars?

Which is less likely to get me egged?
I'll probably take this quandary to the IM thread as well.

I had more this year in the torrential downpour than I did last year and it was clear. I gotta stop handing out the good shite and go to candy corn.

We had 100 or more. The cars were lined up bumper to bumper on our street.

We are a destination subdivision for trick-or-treaters.

Gave out about 500 pieces of candy, a few two or three piece portions after 7:30.

We live in a destination subdivision as well, but where our house is situated we don't get very many. Our end of the street only has 7 houses, and there's a big cross street that is long and flat that gets all the action.

We had none last night, but we were out with our kids most of the night until the rain started. Probably would have only had a couple otherwise.

we went to a "destination" neighborhood.

we have friends that live there and it's pretty quiet and low traffic.

We have the oldest kids out of our group of friends that are similar ages so we do this every year.

Three was the grand total for me, too. Kids don't give a shite about candy anymore.

Back in the 1980s, kids didn't get candy all the time. Halloween was a big fricking deal to me.

I live in a small neighborhood. We have 15 homes on one road with a cul de sac. About a 1/4 mile from our house is a 300 home subdivision. Very high end who does it up for Halloween. Tons of stuff going on over there. We took our kids over there for years.
They get all the trick or treaters

I actually wished we had more. We like Halloween and it would add to the night.

Hate this shite, teach your punk arse little kids some manners.

And yeah quite a few, went through about a hundred worth of candy.
