Ain't that the truth. Area is booming.

Back in Bama now, but recently moved from Missouri. It does feel good to be back in SEC country around FOOTBALL fans.

Yep, it does suck. I just now managed to get out of it.

Where'd you go?

The area didn't suck, I had a good time there for the most part, just the bama/au fans were insufferable, mostly the bammers.

I've never seen an Aggie here, except when you played in the Dome last season.

Same. I think I've probably seen at least 1 of every SEC school, but can honestly say I've never seen an ag in Atlanta.

Every SEC school is well represented except for TAMU, Mizzou, and Arkansas. Guess they migrate to the Texas cities.

Middle Tennessee here. This area of the state is beautiful and a quality place to live. Lots of Vol fans I know seem to believe that native Tennesseeans should have some mythical allegiance to the Vols. The reality is that where you are out there in northwest Tennessee, you're closer geographically to probably a half dozen other SEC schools than you are to Knoxville. Another reality is that in a normal day, I'm likely to see more people wearing Bama gear or driving a vehicle with some evidence of Bama allegiance than I do the Vols. Of course, if the Vols ever return to their former glory, that will change. But it's been this way for a few years now. Each program has it's sidewalk fans.

No joke. USC alum in SE Tennessee, just outside Chattanooga. Like the area pretty well, as it's inexpensive, no state income tax, and the summers are more bearable than anything in the Midlands, but I do miss SC something fierce.

I see palmettos on cars all the time, but I think that's just become something trendy. More and more USC-specific stuff, though. Most of the people here are split between Go Roll Tiders and Volls (yet I've only known *one* UTK grad), with a sprinkle of UGA and UF fans thrown in. It's pretty heavily sidewalkers for all four.

Seeing a Vandy fan is like seeing a unicorn, though.

Chattanooga is awesome. Pretty city, great restaurants, the riverfront area is awesome. Always thought it would be a great place to live. And if you're a Braves fan, the new stadium won't really be that far.

I'm an Ole Miss fan/graduate here in Raleigh, NC in the heart of ACC country. Duke, UNC and NC State are all within a 30 mile radius of each other. It's amazing; all of their campuses combined don't even begin to hold a candle to the amount of dime pieces in Oxford. I was so spoiled for 4 years

Chattanooga is a great place to live for a lot of reasons, and proximity to major sports is definitely one of those. New Bravoes stadium is close (casual fan). I can catch Falcons *or* Titans games on TV (I'm a Falcons fan, but know plenty of both), plus easy drive either way. And best of all, because of the time zone differential, I can leave my house and make it to Nashville for a Preds game on a Friday night without having to skip off of work. Love some Preds.

Definitely. I think Denver is our biggest OOS alumni group because oil and gas. I had two friends move to Denver, one to Chicago, one to DC and three to NYC but besides that all my friends from school stayed in Texas. I imagine we have a decent number near any large military base as well.

I'm a MIZZOU fan posting from central Florida.. being in the Orlando area, it's still mostly gator fans, but due to the transient nature of the area, there is a sprinkling of everything here..

That's what my old man always said. He couldn't swing a dead cat on post without hitting at least a few Ags. Always had pleasant things to say about y'all, too.
