Incredible grandfather.
My kids idolize him. I dread the day of his passing as my wife and our kids will be devastated.

Same way here. I love both my in laws dearly (more than my own parents, to be honest) I can handle my MiL passing and my wife will too. my FiL will be the loss that i don't think any of us will handle well. fortunately they're in their 60's and good health. heck my FiL's mom is 101 and still drives, cooks, and lives by herself.

Mine both turn 70 this year, but are both in pretty good health. Still both very active. Both of their parents all lived well into their 90's, so hopefully they won't pass anytime soon. Heck, my FIL's dad fought his kidneys shutting down for 2-3 days in the hospital. FIL had to tell him it was okay to give up, and he passed within 5 minutes.
