A question for the Tejas folks. How do I get the uppers more soft. I've tried breaking these in but they are still pretty stiff

Honestly, I've only ever broken mine in the old fashioned way--wearing them a LOT

Well that's all well and good while I am not at work but I am on my feet in a hospital 12+ hours per shift and boots aren't going to happen

Used to have a black pair for that very reason. Need to get another ASAP.

If you want to shell out some dough then Mercedes Boots is a fine choice. Top quality imo, not a cheapo.

Eh, out of the 8 or 9 guys that show up to the college bible study at my church, only one doesn't wear some sort of boots. Most of the other guys wear cowboy boots - I stick to some Timberlands my dad got me a while back

I've got a pair of 1883 Lucchese elephants I rock all the time. Work boots look good in a casual setting with jeans, but you need to up your game when wearing boots with a nice pair of pants.

If I'm not hunting or working I just wear my bean boots. I wear them hunting too, but they actually work with nice clothes well enough.

I have a casual pair of Jordan's that need to be updated. I bought the same pair 3 times. It is hard to find one that matches a pair of jeans, but when I do, it's money.

Never owned a pair of Jordan's, believe it or not
And I never wear basketball shoes with casual wear--only to hoop in. I'm just really hard on my shoes and I'm in the gym a LOT.
