The universe is too damn big for that. Aliens probably do exist but they have never been here nor will they ever. Even at light speed which you can't approach without infinite mass it would just take way too long to be plausible.

You're correct about what happens with mass but left out what happens to time when you approach light speed. It stands still. How can it "take too long"? But I agree, the mass issue is a problem.

Einstein's Theory of Special Relativity says that time would slow down for the traveler approaching the speed of light from an observer's point of view. Time remains normal for the traveler, however.

Only massless particles can travel at the speed of light. Even if massive particles could achieve that speed, it's just not adequate for traversing even our home Galaxy.

There's another possibility. At the quantum level, distance does not seem to be an issue.

Entangled particles remain associated no matter the distance between them. If you affect one, the other particle is equally changed instantly even if it's millions of light years away.

If we learn that physics at the quantum level can be translated to the macro world, many of our present problems of travel and communication through space will be solved.

I have absolutely 0 proof of anything. On the other hand, I would love to pick the brains of the high ranking Air Force officials. Not saying Area 51 is hiding any equally or more intelligent life form but I'm fairly certain they've seen some unknown to the public knowledge about seeing some crazy stuff.

Well, they probably saw a couple of our TV programs and listened to our radio stations and turned right the frick around.

All jokes aside, if you want to get to the bottom of it I guess the studies/hypothesis on Panspermia (not as delicious as it sounds) are probably your best bet. To get you started you can look at Wikipedia. :)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panspermia

I know there are some animals/microbes that have been filled with question marks on where they fit in the evolutionary tree and there have been suggestions that they arrived here in this fashion.

"Panspermia can be said to be either interstellar (between star systems) or interplanetary (between planets in the same star system);[31][32] its transport mechanisms may include comets,[33][34] radiation pressure and lithopanspermia (microorganisms embedded in rocks).[35][36][37] Interplanetary transfer of nonliving material is well documented, as evidenced by meteorites of Martian origin found on Earth.[37]"
