We've come so far since my grandpa was designing rocket engines so we could land on the moon... 45+ years ago

Your grandpa was probably a steely eyed rocket man.

My wifes family was big time in Huntsville. Lots of Auburn engineers working there. They did some great stuff and my wifes uncle worked for Von Braun.

Mucho respect to those guys who did it with a pencil and a slide rule. No doubt with the right computing power, they'd have done what this SpaceX team did. They did that and more learning to get to the moon much less land there.

And now mostly uah engineers are hired. We finally got rid of the menace. That campus is booming right now.
