1. Gay cousin bringing his boyfriend to meet the family for the first time. Got a couple of big homophobes in the family.

Oh hell. Got to give us updates on this

2. My lush aunt(she actually curbed the drinking 6 or 7 years ago when she got married) is coming without her husband. Apparently there's trouble in paradise and is possibly linked to her drinking again.

Damn that's depressing

3. There's always the potential for my sister-in-law's(wife's brother's wife) white trash father to crash our Christmas morning breakfast at her house. My FIL can't stand him and has gotten in a fist fight with him before(he called my MIL a dumb bitch so he deserved the arse beating he got).

frick that trashy a-hole. You should step in and help if he does it again.

People really do forget how depressing or dramatic the holidays can be sometimes. My parents about 5 years ago were going through some really bad times in their marriage and it looked like they were getting divorced. Christmas that year was not fun at all.

I don't think my family would care all that much. The family is pretty much all in the area so we see each other pretty often.

when my dads dad was alive we never had a holiday where him and granny would both be at it. The only time I ever saw them together somewhere outside of the house was when my dad was in the hospital and that was only because it wasn't looking good for him.

Mine is as follows.

Who I call my "mom" is actually my aunt to which I have no blood relation to. I have a "cousin" who which I have no blood relation to but have only known for a few years that just so happens to be pretty hot.

She hits me up trying to hang out with me all the time and has that goodie good status going on. Well, she is a heavy drinker and loves going out but no one in the family knows that, but they know that I go out a shite ton and that she has been hanging around me a lot here lately. So, they have found out about her going out recently and have seemingly blamed me for it all. Even going as far as believing there is something going on between the two of us. Keep in mind this is the most hardcore group of Christians there are.

No. Just no. It's going to suck.

I read your post and it does suck that your family is putting the blame on you for her actions.

Having said that, if there's no blood relation between you, she's hot and of age and is hitting you up all the time, then how come you haven't done anything with her?

if he uses a plunger with her then UT might give him a gray shirt. He would get a full scholly if it was a true cousin.

My Great Grandmother passed away during the summer and during the "get together" (or whatever you call it) before the funeral at my Grandparent's house...2 of my uncles and there wives broke out an ice chest full of beer and started checking out each other's cars while getting wasted...in front of everyone. It was like a big happy family reunion for them. My Grandmother banned them from her house and they haven't spoken since...except behind each other's backs....A LOT. Everyone is invited to Christmas this year and my Grandmother told me she has something special planned for the before mentioned funeral crashers. I have no idea how to take that or what she means. Should be interesting. I too have my share of Alabama and Georgia rednecks in the family.

Aunt arrived an hour ago. Hasn't hit the hooch yet, and nobody has asked her about her husband not coming with her yet. She's the only one not drinking, so maybe it was just a rumor.

My mom and my uncle (her sister's husband) always get into it about how to discipline my ADD cousin. Provides for good fireworks at first but then it gets old and I usually go outside and have a Budweiser with my papaw til it blows over.

Me and pappy give 0 fricks about everyone else's squabbles.

My wife's family is drama central. Always glad to come home after a couple of hours with them.

Only drama will be my step-nephew coming over for Christmas or not. He's been in and out of rehab and has moved in with his psycho mother (bro-in-law's ex wife). Recently got arrested for public intox (again) and has yet to apply to college anywhere.

If he shows up, it'll be drama because all the other kids hate him. If he doesn't show up, then my bro-in-law will get drunk, depressed, and cry. No win.

Going tomorrow to the wife side, she has a big family about 60 people going to be there. No drama
but damn they are a loud bunch. Her family is originally from Connecticut. Wife has four sisters
that married all Bama boys so me and the BIL's all
head to the down stair's garage and commence to get shitface, hell now that i think of it maybe we are the drama.
