If you're going to save money on bombs at least put it into something worth a shite, like education reform for our children.

But hopefully you were kidding.

Seriously though, we could take out their entire front lines without sending a single person over there. For once, we have support from the majority of the Middle East and we spent 14 billion dollars to give Iraq a military and government we can basically control. Lets protect that investment without harming a single American.

There are 20 other things in this country that should get additional money more than NASA.

I was harsh with my words, but NASA won't survive anyway when we have this stupid generation in charge. Educate the youngsters.

Education reform is not going to happen in our lifetime

or our kids

it's a feat too large due to the hole we've dug ourselves into over the last 30-40 years

Not kidding.
IMO NASA should be a top 10 priority on the budget.

And I also get that latent homosexual tension vibe from all terrorists.

The stories of boy rape are pretty gruesome over there.

Money won't help it either. We already spend the most in the world on education (Bill Gates donates hundreds of millions every year to the cause) yet we see minimal improvements.

Its a broken system and until we get teachers creating the curriculums instead of politicians we'll be fricked.

Private education is just fine. Public Education is falling apart at the lower levels for a couple of reasons. 1. Parents are shitty 2. Teachers Unions.

It is not easy to fix either one. Teacher unions and teachers will throw a shite fit if you try to reform the standards that they need to be a teacher/ eliminate the union.

The first can't really be fixed at all.

stop rewarding extra welfare to people for having more kids and punish them if their kids don't attend school regularly up to a certain age.

Increase birth control, abortion, and condom availability in low economic areas.

good starts but I don't think that will make them take interest in the kids they already have. Also none of that will happen, no politician will try to reform welfare and actually succeed. Also the ones that would reform welfare are likely against making birth control and abortions easier to get.

Good ideas though on how to fix it.
