Saw 480's comment that UFC 191 had a cancellation rumor. So I went to look at the card, and there's zero confirmed fights for it. So lets book the card. It's in Vegas fwiw. I'm trying to stick w/ fighters that don't have confirmed fights on the books right now.

I'm putting Mr. Finland Makwan Amirkhani on. He's charismatic and entertaining in the ring. He's only been on European cards so far. Time to bring him to the States.

Makwan Amirkhani vs. Cub Swanson

Holly Holm vs. Marion Reneau

Some frick on the bosscast chat is white knighting Holm as the one that could beat Rousey. I love Reneau's game, she's pretty bad arse. Well shite, just looked at the schedule and Reneau and Holm will fight in San Diego on Jul 15. so scratch that.

Give me Yoel Romero vs. Jacare. I really wanted this fight to happen, still do.

I'll stay in middleweight. Robert Whittaker vs. Tim Kennedy. Beast v Beast.

Cowboy v. Cowboy in a hat match. Cerrone vs. Alex Oliveira. The Brazilian uses the Cowboy nickname, but he's no Donald Cerrone. I like Oliveira a lot, he's underrated and a damn good fighter in all phases.

Aldo v. Frankie, winner faces winner of Mendes/McGregor to unify the 145lb belt.

TL:DR

Makwan Amirkhani vs. Cub Swanson
Robert Whittaker vs. Tim Kennedy
Yoel Romero vs. Jacare
Alex Oliveira vs. Donald Cerrone (for the Cowboy nickname)
Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar (for 145lb unification title fight)

I'm taking Saban in this one, always root for the little guy.

Do you mean Jose Aldo vs Mendes/McGregor winner? Even so, no way the interim champ only gets <2 months rest.

I'd dig a #1 contender fight between Jacare & Romero.

Cowboy needs to sit on his arse and wait for a title fight. He's earned it after winning 8 in a row.

naw, UFC's done contender fights w/ a champ that's been on a layoff. (I think it was Lesnar vs. Mir or Couture)

Mcgregor/Mendes win tonight, then Aldo/Frankie and winner gets the winner of tonight's fight to unify the belt w/ the interim champ belt.

I don't think RDA will be ready to fight until early 2016 at best. Cerrone's already trying to fight in Chicago in a few weeks. lol

Holly Holm
She's an undefeated fighter and an excellent boxer/kickboxer who's been training under Mike Winkeljohn for years. While she does possess some knockout power, she is nowhere near the all-around fighter that Rousey is. I'm a fan of the Preacher's Daughter, but:

1) she can probably take down Holm at will;

2) Rousey's standup has improved to the point where it largely negates Holm's strengths as a fighter.

Holm was dogshit in her debut fight. I don't think she's Top 20 level much less top 10.
