Warning: Spoiler Alert. If you have not seen previous episodes and don't want to know what has happened up to this point, then don't read any further. The series is sort of a prequel to Hitchcock's movie Psycho, but set in current times.

I enjoy this series on A&E. Any other fans out there? So here is where things stand after last week's opening episode.

Norman seems to be supressing the memory that he killed his teacher. The crooked sheriff may be beginning to suspect Norman was involved. Norman's mom has to figure out a way to prevent construction of a new road that diverts traffic away from the motel. Bradley has killed the local weed kingpin to avenge her father's death; Norman's brother could be a candidate to assume the vacated position.

Next episode tonight at 9:00 PM Eastern time.

I'm not positive if Norman Killed the teacher though. I wanted her to die.

Bradley needs to die, I hate her. Halfway through the last episode I thought she might have turned a corner but even her murdering Gil was not enough to redeem her. Gil did need to die though. She just gets under my skin. We get it, your dad got murdered, get the frick over it.

Emma is hot, super hot.

Norma is probably going to try and bang her elder son at some point this season, I just get that feeling.

ETA: might want to put a spoilers warning up here.

Bradley is poison. I am guessing she showed up wanting Norman's help cleaning up Gil's crime scene, disposing of the corpse or planting evidence.

I think Norma is gonna try to dig up some dirt on that city councilman. He might have been bribed by whoever owns the land by the new road.

It's possible Norman left the house without killing the teacher. Someone might have come later and killed her. Maybe Gil? He sure is acting like a guilty man, though.

Emma is a smart one. She doesn't like Bradley, so she may figure out what has happened to Gil, and use that to make things difficult for her. To maneuver her away from Norman. I sense an escalating conflict between those two.

It would be awesome if they got in a fight and Bradley fricked with Emma's breathing apparatus and Norman came in and saw it and fricked Bradley's world up.

Or if Emma and Bradley start out in a catfight and it leads to some lesbian action. Either way I would be happy.

So Bradley leaves and will return at a later date to frick everything up I am sure. I hope her bus runs off a cliff.

Hopefully we get more musical numbers this season.

BTW I thought the scene outside of the audition was awesome. Notice how in season 1 Dillon said something like Norma gets upset and then starts to cry and makes you do what she wants and that is exactly what happened there.

The scenes with Norma and Norman are great, I find myself barely even paying attention to their words and just watching their faces and listening to the tone of their voices looking for the psychotic undertones.

Bradley will return after the fallout from Gil's murder blows over.

Feeling the heat from too many unsolved homicides, Sheriff Romero will make sure that (perhaps innocent) guy he's got locked up gets convicted.

Norma's brother shows up. She told Norman last season that her brother forced her to have sex with him when she was young. Well, he's gonna die. No doubt about that.

In Hitchcock's movie, a private eye turns up at the motel investigating Marion Crane. I wonder if that plot device will make its way into the story. Bradley's mom may decide to hire a private detective to look into her disapperance/suicide. If so, I bet he'd go asking around at the motel. The series does not repeat the movie, but it does tend to rhyme. Just something to watch for.

Episode 3 saw Norma and Norman forming new friendships with the locals. Christine claims to be a rebel of sorts, but throws parties featuring local bigshots. Norman's new friend Cody is quite a contrast from Bradley; she seems to have a working class background with some family issues. We'll soon find out what secrets these two have.

Dylan is ready to hand over $11K in cash to help buy a Costa Rican resort for Norma's brother, sight unseen. The weed business must be good! That was before he found out the long lost brother is his father. Note the family resemblance.

I don't know if young folks are watching this program, but the creators are definitely trying to portray interesting younger characters, kind of like in Friday Night Lights. That is kind of unusual. I really have no idea where things are headed this season, which is good, I like being surprised.

Emma was puzzled over how well Norman is reacting to Bradley's "death." Interesting that she is now confiding in "cupcake boy", instead of Norman. Wonder if she's coming around to the idea that something is not quite right with that boy.

Norman has a thing about helping damsels in distress. It was suggested Cody has some kind of problems at home. He won't be able to keep his nose out of it.

Is it just me, or does everything in this show have a sexual undertone?
