Damn, so sad. I absolutely cannot imagine the pain the family is feeling, heartbreaking.

Along with the family, I feel bad for the guy swinging the bat, that will be hard to live with

Stories like these used to make me wonder what's the point in prayer. If God didn't intercede between the boy and the bat, why would he intercede with a prayer request.

when i was 9 i was playing 2nd best in a playoff game for little leage baseball. the catcher was the last at bat and i caught too as well so i went out to warm up the picther befor the next inning while the dude got his equipment on.
i didn't take the helmet becuase what the frick lol? i didn't need it
so i' mwarming up the pitcher and the dude is in the on deck cirle and he gets way to fricking close and just pops me in the mouth with his bat. was knocked out cold and woke up in the emergency room.
i was okay, but i lost like 4 teeth on the right side of my mouth. i actually didn't feel anything i went straight unconscious lol.. my mom was scared shitless
we ended up winning that game, and i caught the next game a week later lol.
