My neighbor is taking his high school daughter (no pics, she’s underage for now) to visit Auburn. I told him this would be a good spot for info, so I’m asking for him.

What are the college restaurants, things to see, etc for them to get the full Auburn experience? They have a campus tour scheduled.

Thanks.

Depending upon the season, it's always nice to watch trees on Toomer's Corner get TPed.

That's a joke. Only those of us who took a few Ag courses knew where the cows were.

Toomer's Corner is a place to visit for Lemonade. The bookstore, just to wander for a minute.

Athletic fields. Stadiums .

The Depot is the best restaurant in Auburn. Actually, It's one of the better restaurants period.

That takes place daily in the Quad ....

MY GrandDad coached football with Shug. They were unique characters. At games he would call my room mate and I to his side. "OK boys, time for sex education. See those people with pom poms and bumps on the front of their shirts? Those are girls and boys like girls. I want to see your work by the next home game."

Pat Dye on the other hand just sent hookers straight to players' rooms. Maybe that's why he never won a championship

So, what was your son, a recruit ? Or was your daughter sent to the room?

Mellow Mushroom is a great place to eat and watch games that is fairly cheap. I love their wings. Toomers is great for lemonade and T-shirts. There are plenty of things to do. However most things can be found in most cities in the southeast
