I always thought that is was a byproduct of how much money the church has. And, of course, much of the church's money comes from the congregation. So, the people who don't tithe, don't have nice churches.

To me, no. But this morning, for breakfast, I was sitting in a booth behind a lady, talking to her friend across from her, and her story was wayyy beyond shitty. She had just left her doctor's office where she was told her cancer was no longer in remission. This after finding out yesterday that her mom had been diagnosed with lung cancer. This on top of her dad being diagnosed with colon cancer last mth. This on top of her husband throwing she & her 3 kids out of the house last nite because he was "sick & tired of her always being so sick". On top of all this, she had wrecked her car 3 days ago & it was totaled. Most of her story was of the sobbing variety. Almost wanted to give her directions to the Miss.River Bridge so she could end her shitty day.

I read this thread last night and thought about how I'd a pretty good day.
Then at 10, I retired to the bedroom to discover the dog had puked on both pillows.

got told a C- I made 3 years ago is keeping me from graduating and I have to pay $750 to take the class over in July

my apartments flooding due to the tenants up-stairs having a leak all night and not doing anything about it more than holding their finger over the leak. We finally got sewage and water to shut off the water main, but we've still got a mess on our hands.
