Nostalgia kickin in.
All the guys from Minnie played them a lot. Had a burnt cd with atmosphere written on it at some point.
I think it was some of the only hip hop I liked.
Been on this lately.

Crazy man. I've put the guitar down and been digging deep into beats and samples lately.
Feeling like a good beat looped under a good sample is where it's at.
That song fits my vibe right now. It's right there for me.

I liked that No Rest for the Weary best of those. That Black Sheep beat was good too.
I've never been a hip hop guy, but just followed McGregor and Diaz's fight camps closely. They both uploaded day-in-the-life type videos throughout camp with old school hip-hop in the background and it turned me on.
Never would have thought, but I've been listening that a lot lately.
I'm liking some of that chill-hop Brock Berrigan stuff too.
Jim James from My Morning Jacket is into making beats as a side thing and has a new solo album out soon.
Here's the teaser for it. Seems like it could be called psychedelic-hop. Idk.
