Anyone ever tried Meditation?

need something to help me start our more calm and in control during these hectic 80 hour weeks..
Anyone ever tried meditation? Does this help? Nothing too in depth just practices to ease the stress on my mind a bit

An easy meditation technique is to focus on your breathing. Inhale for 8 seconds, hold you breath for 4 seconds, then exhale slowly for 7 seconds. As you do this, count the seconds in your head and listen to yourself breathe. The only thoughts in your mind should be about your breathing.

Yeah I pick a prayer I like and slowly repeat it in my head for a few minutes then I just clear my mind and breathe.

Yes, take long, deep breaths and slowly exhale. Concentrate only on the breathing, no other thoughts. I pretend that my breathing are sounds of waves on a beach. Be patient, sometimes it can take 10-15 minutes to get you where you wanna be.

I try to meditate at least an hour a day. Go to youtube and listen to some guided meditations with some soothing female voices, especially the ones with a aussie or british accent. Once you get good you can meet your spirit guides that will guide you through life. Good luck lad.
