Just finished the last episode and might've seen the creepiest thing I've ever seen in a documentary like that. Apparently the crew researched the family and cases for 10 years and it all came to a head with Durst finally being arrested for one of the murders Saturday night in NOLA.
So crazy. I legitimately still have the heebie jeebies from watching it.

Final scene with him in bathroom is maybe the craziest thing I have ever seen on TV.

It won't be on Netflix since it's HBO

Durst was arrested in New Orleans this weekend, partly because of info that came out from the show

Crazy. I caught bits and pieces on HBO but never watched a full episode. Crazy to think it lead to his downfall.
Did they have the arrest on the show tonight?

Really is. And apparently the documentary folks didn't find that footage until well after the interview when they were going through what they had.
It's just so so creepy.

Nah. The show is a cumulation of interviews and investigations over a decade. There wasn't really anything they could include at that short of notice.

Details for someone with no knowledge at all about any of this.

HBO does a multi episode documentary on a millionaire that is highly implicated in 3 murders. Very strange cat.
Filmmakers bring a lot of light on incriminating facts and get the guy to agree to an interview. He all but admits to it and in an "unstaged" moment admits to the murders off camera while miked up in the bathroom.
Documentary reignites case and LAPD charges him the day before the final episode airs.

I watched the series and I sharted my pants when he said "killed them all of course".
At first I was confused and then I was like, "Oh my God, he talking to himself in the bathroom as two completely different personalities! WTF?"

That's what I took from all six episodes.
Guy is a billionaire psychotic murdering transvestite cross dressing .... and here's the spooky part .... I think he may be the first legit multi-personality psyctzo I've ever actually seen on film or anywhere else in my entire life.

When he said, "I wonder what's at the house" or something to that effect, it brought me right back to the fact they never searched his house when the first wife disappeared. But yeah, when he dropped that it was absolutely bone chilling.

Same here. Especially when he was doing the weird throat clearing/burping like he was trying to hold something back.
I thought for sure after that he would probably claim insanity if they arrested him, but I read elsewhere that he didn't do that in Galveston simply because he would end up forfeiting his trust fund if he did. I don't know if that's normal to have in a trust fund clause, but found that little outside tidbit interesting.
And I have absolutely no doubt his family is complicit in at least one of the murders. More than likely his wife since she was about to divorce him and possibly get her hands on some of that Durst family cash.
