Anybody else wear sunglasses in the dentist chair?

Don't really care either way.

The nice young ladies who clean my teeth have above average chests and during the work they seem to rub them on me often. At that point I could care less about anything else.

I had never thought about it but now I'm wondering why the overhead lights are so very bright in a dentist's office. Thanks for that.

I had just assumed they needed the light. After consideration, however, it seems that the light they use is very focused and comes from specialty lighting, not from the overhead lights.

I'm going to ask when next I go to the dentist unless someone else does sooner and posts the responses they get here on the OTB.
