I started using it a few months ago to quit smoking and I love it now. My favorite is General Mint, but it can irritate your gums pretty bad so most of the time I just use General White and chew a piece of gum with it in.

If you haven't tried it, I highly recommend General (Swedish). The American snus is supposed to be a lower nicotine product intended to get people to keep smoking, although I haven't noticed a drastic difference in American or Swedish

I used to use Cope and still do occasionally. Snus is safer though, as it's fermented and not fire-cured. Another plus of snus is that I can do it at work- you don't have to spit and it's so small people can't see it in your lip

Love snus. It's great for playing basketball or at the office. I just do Camel Frost.

I keep a can in my desk for when i get busy and need to focus. Or when my boss is in the office and we have an hour and half meeting on stuff that could have been announced in an email.

No judgement, but that's not a good thing.

Well, it is if you don't have a place to spit!

I figure after 42 years of continuous usage (and little to no spitting) that if it was going to kill me it would have by now. Not that I'm trying to talk anybody into it.

Aggies are just better cut out for swallowing. It's a fact of life,

I stopped Cope when I realized I wasn't spitting any more or getting a buzz.

I still partake on a long car ride or in the deer blind but have cut it out of everyday life.

When my kids started asking for daddy's gum I knew I needed to get it out of their purview.

Be careful

Quitting smoking is piece of cake compared to quitting dipping

Good decision! If that had ever happened to me I guess I'd have quit, too. I've always been so disgusting with it that it never occurred to the children to be curious about it.

FWIW I did quit once while still in school, of course for a girl. She dumped me less than a week later. Never again.

I do all the time, I have one in pretty much every hour of the day. I used to be a regular heavy dipper but wanted to try to ween off that so I started on camel snus probably 6ish years ago. I know it's not doing my gums any favors, but it's just so damn convenient.

I've never tried the swedish, not sure I've even seen it.
