Any aspiring comic artists here?

A couple of you may remember my "Ambitions" thread I posted awhile back which was maybe a page or two long. At the time I had described my situation as a long term collaboration between me and my friend Alex.
However, even though he's ok, he suffered a heart attack shortly after I posted that, and has been reduced to only concept art instead of his usual. So I ask if there are possibly any of you who'd like to collaborate in a comic/manga project? I do have concept art and a title I can show to those interested.
I can offer payment but not much. $15 a week at most, which will probably turn off a good bit of you to it.
FWIW: if Alahunter could participate in this thread that would be nice. We are both from the same town so....thank you for all your responses, and sorry if this isn't allowed in this board

I can only draw penises. If this is a story about a family of penises then we may be okay.

I think you are shooting down my idea prematurely. Im not jacking you around, i can draw a mean bunch of red penises. It may be hard to imagine but i have quite a load of juicy ideas balled up in my big head just ready to blow. If you got the drawing skills i have the stones to make this happen.

I find the site pretty much a hassle to navigate, but have you prowled around DeviantArt? Or maybe similar forums?

Believe it or not, I actually have. They either charge too much, very unreliable, or don't have the art style I'm looking for.
Not only that, but even the ones that qualify are half way across the world and I have to be up at 12 midnight just to be able to have a small conversation with them.
It's a bit f a hassle >.>

I can draw, manga isn't really my style though.
Working with a couple of other local artists on a graphic novel atm.
I will ask around to some of the more japanese influenced people and see if they would like to get in contact with you about it if you would like?

Hmmmm, when I was in the Army there were always a few kids with a real talent for drawing. I will keep my ear to the ground.

You should look around for related subreddits on Reddit. Large art community with many more posters than here. You could at minimum obtain some useful advice.
