You're one small step up from Mickey's once you start drinking Busch.

I've never been to a bar that had Busch on draft.

I have always been an IPA guy (especially an imperial IPA like Avery Maharaja) but lately I've been killin some Tripel and Quadrupel ales. Victory Golden Monkey is good and relatively cheap.

I had some Stone Imperial at a bar in Lexington last week. It was pretty good.

I've had Golden Monkey. It's decent stuff.

I tend to stick to Stouts and Porters in the Autumn and Winter and Pale Ales and IPA's in the Spring and Summer so I'm excited for the Spring!

Maybe one of the first people I've "met" that has not only heard of it but had similar preference for it. It has long been my favorite of all time starting when I used to live in Boulder where Avery is located. Cat, you're awesome.

Stouts huh? Hmm, I had a great stout (ok I had 3) jsut last night at a restaurant. Morning glory espresso stout by Old Dominion - it was fantastic and not very expensive at all.

I'm a fan of Avery in general. I haven't met an Avery beer that I didn't like.

Haven't had that one. The best really cheap stout that you can find in most places is North Coast Old Rasputin. Can't go wrong with it.

Yea the stout is similar to other coffee/java flavored stouts that have some hints of chocolate. I either stick to these b/c of their coffee flavor or a nitro, milk style stout.

I love both. The Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro is pretty delicious.
