There are like a thousand threads about Marcus Sam coming out gay. Everyone just needs to calm down and honestly nobody should care because coming out as gay is getting more common, and the fact that he is gay does not change his skill and should not change his probablilty to be drafted. We should just accept him and all homosexuals for who they are and support their choice.

Gay rights discussion is invading even my favorite past time - college football. I click on SECR and half of threads are about gays. WTF?

If its no big deal, why did he have to make an announcement? if his mizzou teammates knew about it and it was no big, why couldnt he have just done the same in the NFL? Seems to me Michael Sam is the one making a big deal out of it.
