I've lived all over the south and I find Alabama to be the best state to live in by far. not sure how anyone with a brain thinks louisiana and ms even compare. Not sure Tennessee has any real culture to brag about. Hillbillies? is that what you're bragging about?

What a completely ignorant post, especially coming from someone in Tennessee. I have had the good fortune to live and work in many of the southeastern states, and while they all have challenges they are exceptional states to live and work in. The most ridiculous part of your point of view is that there is some sort of huge difference between the southern states,…..there is not.

I would nominate Maryland as the worse Southern State.
Once it had a God fearing population of people who cherished their homes and state.
