I applaud it, and rick perry can go frick himself. What kind of a-hole, who just happens to be the current energy secretary of THE UNITED STATES, weighs in on his former school's local election?

I'm sure he is a great person, but he won because his opponent who received more votes was DQ'ed on a financial technicality.

The vast majority of people used to be anti-LBGTQ until the govt, Hollywood, and media stared telling them how to think on the issue so most people changed from anti to passionate advocates. It shows how easily a society can be influenced.

Meanwhile in Tuscaloosa, the University of Alabama just elected their very first black SGA president....
Done solely as show because "The Machine" (what a lame name, right?), AKA frat stars and sorostitutes, has been getting called out on their racism for a while now.
And less than a week after the election the election itself and the backing of the President-Elect by "The Machine" are under investigation by the SGA.
The poor guy may not even make it to his inauguration just because a bunch of racist trust fund babies wanted to hold him up as their token.
