I personally think you have a better chance at beating us than Texas. We're prone to drop a game at home. I think it's going to be LSU, but it could be Ole Miss. I haven't even tried to predict a record for anyone

We have to get a whole lot better in the secondary to take y'all deep into a game this year. I'm expecting it to be alot like last year with us coming out passionate and it being a game for a while but in the end MCcarron to Amari Cooper will probably end up killing us.
I haven't felt good about the Texas game all off season to be honest.
For some reason a game I really feel good about is the LSU game. All declining jokes aside I really think we beat them this year. Go 7-5, 8-4, upset one of the big 3 in the West, avoid injuries, and play with the same passion we did last year and that would be a TREMENDOUS season.

LSU-Ole Miss, despite the records, is usually a great game. Some really great games within the last 5 years especially

How good is Miss Stake and Florida?
I just don't see them lighting the world on fire. I see UGA blowing a game they should win. Like blowing a lead for no reason. Carolina will be Carolina, Clowney can't help them on offense.
Alabama I see losing a game because they don't get a break like usual or something crazy happens.

People forget not only did we take them down to the wire last year in DV, but also in 2010 with our 4-8 team it took them scoring in the last minute to win the game. We always play them well for some reason, particularly at DV

quote:State is going to probably struggle in defending the pass, especially in the early part of the season. They are going to have a strong running game, and Tyler Russell might struggle after losing a couple of his leading receivers. I expect them to go 6-6, 7-5 though. Florida, if they can get an offense that averages just 21 points a game they could be really really good.

Just something tells me the SEC will be really top heavy again not best overall conference.
I know it sounds crazy but a lot of SEC rankings are off hype not true determinations of the team.
I see that Bama UGa only legitimate great teams. aTm is Penn St/Michigan like, very good but not complete as is OM LSU Carolina UF.
The rest of conference is ehh nothing to really get excited about.
ETA:
I also think the mid level B1G are as good as the mid level SEC teams.

Bama's O will be an absolute monster
Saban seems worried about the secondary which scares me because the last time that was the spaces the team lost 2 games but that team also was complacent

I'm not as worried about the secondary as I am the OLine. Yeldon is really good, but he was only that good last year because he found the holes the OL created, and zipped through them. He's not going to juke or truck anyone like Richardson used to. So we're going to need the OLine to gel

I think the only issue they seem to be having is at RT where Shepard is better at Pass pro and Arie moving over to RT and Shepard taking his spot at LG is the better run blocking OL
Shepard is more adept with technique less strength and power blocking and Arie is opposite...seems to be giving Mario a gap headache trying to figure out which one

I think the surprise team is get ready for it...
Arkansas
They will pound the hell out of it keep games close and beat teams they shouldn't
The Auburn crew will be good enough to scare you but not beat you.

I actually have that backwards
I think Arky struggles, but Auburn is the snake in the grass, IMO.

That's a fricking start, wouldn't you say? After last years debacle...
Stoops handed out iPad 5's to the entire team today. We're finally doing SEC like shite.

The key game of the West is the Ole Miss Aiburn game winner gets big advantage.
Only thing that worries me about that is Ole Miss goes to Tuscaloosa week before.

I don't do Apple products, but the team was pretty excited about it.
They're getting the playbook, tutoring updates, and all of that shite on them.
