ot in my opinion. Almost 25% of it is based on what peer universities "think" of your institutio

And thoses peer universities are heavily influenced by the US News rankings. that's what makes it a joke.

Funny cause Business Insider ranked the University of Alabama as the hardest college to get into in the state of Alabama.

InB4: UGA isn't the hardest to get into. We have Emory in our state, bitches.

Auburn is harder to get into that Alabama right now

my 17 year old son is a junior in HS & looking at colleges

we are very blessed, he has a 4.2 GPA & a 31 on the ACT (we put him in a class & he re-took the test, new results should be in soon)

a 31 on the ACT is an automatic full ride to Bama

Auburn requires a 33 (that just went up this year, I was surprised to find out that AU has more stringent admissions that UA - would have thought it the opposite)

UGA requires a 34 for a full ride from out of state

kid wants to go to a big school - UGA, AU & Bama are his top 3 right now, but he is also looking at Florida, FSU, Clemson & UNC

hope we get him to that 34 ACT, cuz I wanna see him at UGA...
