Nice little barb to add in there. Did it with the South Carolinian as well. Reminds me of this:

and 50% of Americans support big govt because they either work for it or are supported by it..

it's over for us, one way or the other.

People like to harp on the without fed funds a state would flunk. They don't take into account that a state would likely lose a lot of its lower nonworking class people when free loading shite is cut off by that state. The state wouldn't keep paying free loaders if the fed funds to pay them were taken.

I'll bet that the number is higher than 25% in Texas. I hope it's pretty low in Mississippi. Without the tax dollars flowing into that shithole from the productive states, it would be even worse than it is now......if that's even conceivable.

Alabama would be fricked too. These dumb hillbillies have managed to rid the state of manufacturing and any real industry. Now we can just hang our hats on being smarter than Mississippi.

There are very few states that could legitimately secede and be fine. Texas might be the only one that could do it in stride. They still make stuff, would have borders with two countries, have harbors and plenty of land to farm and raise livestock. off the top of my head, not sure what other state would have a 95% success rate after seceding.

A successful Texas succession would rely completely on how the US would deal with them after they left. I doubt it would be pretty.

Go to disneyworld. You can see 15-20 of these fat motherfrickers in motorized wheelchairs there daily. Usually smoking a cigarette.

Yeah California. Much as I hate to say it.

1. They have several excellent air and ocean ports for international commerce.

2. They have tons of oil and natural resources.

3. Generally educated population base.

4. All the technology you'd ever want.

the same state that has been bankrupt or hovering for years? They are poorly managed and will continue to be even after seceding.

California is drowning in debt and liberalism as it is now. Without the US propping them up, they would be in worse shape now.

Tax rate would move to 99% the day they secede, and everyone who pays taxes there would leave an hour later.
