I went to work with Florida Power & Light in 1970, making $2.65 per hour. I retired in 2000 (took company buy out), took a year off, got bored, all my friends still working. Went back to work with local school district and will retire again in 18 months.

Started out at 6.50 an hour folding clothes and surfing the web in a sporting goods store

I've been doing IT work for 28 years now, moving between 3 different employers during that time.
