If actually planted bombs, I really hope surrounding cameras caught the person planting them on tape.

A bomb went off near the finish line. Several minutes later, another one went off in the same area

Anniversary dates of certain events are commemorated by terrorist attacks in many instances. The marathon, simply provides a high casualty, high profile target. There's never rhyme or reason in the mind of a terrorist.

And international viewership. The Boston Marathon is participated by people from all nations. I personally think we're dealing with an Eric Rudolph like guy as opposed to al Queda, but I'm beginning to think this is a lot deeper than I originally thought
