Ahh..now I see why the national and local media haven't reported this story, and probably won't.

Panola County, white girl, lighter fluid down the throat, and set on fire.

Didn't something similar to this happen in Knoxville, TN about a decade ago??

January 6, 2007: The Torture Murders of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom

... and here is how the Southern Poverty Law Center claimed it was not racially motivated and that anyone who claimed it was is a racist. LINK

I remember when the Newsom and Christian tragedy happened. They got kidnapped about 20 minutes away from me on the other side of the city near a apartment complex behind the East Town mall.

Some of what happened wasn't reported to the media either. We've got family friends that worked on the case and as hard as it is to imagine, they endured more than what was published. They told us that some of Channons teeth had been removed while still alive and Chris was raped multiple times(wtf?) prior to being set on fire on the rail road tracks and shot.

I remember my sister and most of her friends being terrified to leave the house for months.

Prayers sent to the family -- unbelievable and I hope her father finds whose ever responsible before anyone else has the chance.

If this story sickens you, this story should thoroughly piss you off:

10 people set on fire in recent months

when it comes to awful black on white crime...admins don't like us to talk about it.

Why not? How is pointing out absolutely awful murders committed against white people anymore racist than people talking about "one off" incidents of white on black crime? Hell, no one ever wants to talk about black on black crime. That subject is always changed to get the discussion back on track to white on black crime.

We're allowed to discuss white on black crime because it's politically trendy at the moment, but black on white crime is seemingly off limits. Discussion of black on white crime is deemed "racist" while discussion of white on black crime is deemed "necessary".

Why?

according to a "non credible" online report he is the prime suspect because she just broke up with him..the actual news just released a video of her and a guy at the gas station an hour before she was found...apparantly the guy was filling up a gas can..it was also reported on memphis news that first responders asked who did this to you and she gave them a name.."more to come at 10" but i doubt i watch it

The video was posted in the OT. Not much there other than her walking from her car, waiving and walking away from the store out of site. The video then shows something in morphed speed from the angle in which she walked , her car still there, then something that looks like a person pumping gas and that's it. Video doesn't show her getting in the car or who she walked over to. They fast forwarded that part.

I didn't click that link last night because I didn't want to go to bed angry.

Now I'm going to go through my day wanting to kill some SOB with my bare hands.

The only punishment that fits this crime is to die in the same manner, find them pour lighter fluid on them and light them up

The song is much older than the 1950s when the Louvins recorded it. It is an old Appalachian ballad from the 19th century and based on older Irish (The Wexford Girl) and English (The Oxford Girl) ballads - both of which are more explicit in the nature and manner of the crime. Those ballads, in turn, are believed to be drawn from a 17th century poem called The Bloody Miller.
