I hate to say it, guys, but I really think we have at least 2 more years of Haith, and probably 3, before Alden would make a change. Our expectations are high, as they should be. But, he made the tournament in his first 2 years at Mizzou, and Alden won't make a change unless he has 2-3 years of misses. We've got him for a while.
i hope he can turn things around next year, I really want to see him succeed. Well, really, I want to see the team/program succeed, I have no deep feelings toward Haith one way or the other.

I agree he probably does have 2 more years, or atleast next year. My personal problem with this is I have zero confidence in him succeeding, atleast to the level we expect our BB coach to reach. That's why I think it's time to get rid of him. As a person, I like Haith and wish he could succeed, but with his dismal track record at Miami and the last 2 years here, I just don't see it happening. I hope he proves me wrong as it's rarely a good thing to start over, but I have a strong feeling it will happen in the near future so let's not delay the inevitable.
The bottom line though is Alden doesn't have the balls to do what needs to be done. He hired him and will give him a long rope to hang himself which Haith will certainly do unfortunately.

I'd take the NIT if he'd use it to let the young guys get more playing time.

He picked a bad year to crap the bed with trying to get talent like Whitt and Tatum. I'd hate to say it, but I think Tatum is a lock to Florida.

I think you're probably right.
