Isabell
Clark
MGC
JW3
Gant
Jones off the bench

versus

Phillips
Walton
VanLeer
Puryear
Woods
Wolf off the bench

Jesus it's depressing when the guys who left your program as a whole are better than guys on it still. And don't give me the Puryear is the best player on the list. Maybe is. Maybe isn't. I like the kid. But I'm talking as a whole, we have lost a shite ton more talent than we've been able to keep. Hell, about now, I'd take Bello on this team. Wait. He'd be playing on the away team too.

Even the winners of that game still lose.

The guys that have left might be slightly less dogshit than what we've got, but they're still dogshit.

You left Namon Wright off the first group.

I would take Phillips & Walton over Clark & Isabel. If you replace Isabel with Wright the guards play to a draw.
Teki & J3 over CVL & Woods.
Gant and Barnett would play to a draw. Puryear was better than Gant.
J3 & Teki would be the difference, they are way higher caliber players than the rest

Not Sophs Phillips and Walton over Senior Clark and anyone. And Junior Wright and Senior Clark easily beat Sophs Phillips and Walton.

If you base it off of analytics if this past season Freshman Phillips was better than junior Clark. And freshman Walton was better than sophomore Wright or sophomore Isabel.
Now I thought Wright way underperformed last year.
Now if Clark and Wright were playing with Teki and J3 they would be the 3rd and 4th options. Those are roles that they are better at. They couldn't cut it as go to players.

Is the first group putting in 80% effort, playing selfish ball, having a cancerous attitude, and choosing not to play physical? If so, as is most of their track record then I'll take team 2.

Team 1 was above average talent that carried themselves like lottery picks. Team 2 appears to be average talent that carries themselves like blue collar 4 year players. I'll take team 2, as we have been getting murdered by team 2 type teams for the past 3 years.

bullshite. Clark carried us in multiple games almost completely by himself. Phillips won't carry us even when he's a senior. Walton and Wright would be pretty even on the same year.

The top players went Puryear, Rosburg, Walton, Gant, Clark, Phillips.
Clark's PER was 0.5 better than Phillips for the season. If you break it down based on the games Clark played vs didn't play Phillips surpassed Clark.

Both of them would finish last in any Power 5 league.

The first group is coached by Gregg Marshall. The second group is coached by KA. Take that for whatever it's worth when it comes to effort.

Looking over the advanced stats really makes you wonder why KJ didn't play way more.
If Mizzou is going to have a chance of being competitive next year he will be a huge key. KA has to play him more. Wouldn't shock me to see him average 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals if KA gives him 30 minutes a game next year.
He really can impact the game in way more facets of the game than anyone else on the roster.
