Once the announcement is made then I'm out.

Will you guys root for another team or be done with the NFL until it returns to STL (If it ever does).

I might transition to a Chiefs fan. At least keep my fandom in my home state.

I'll be a fan still until/if London gets a team.

As much as I hate LA and $tank, players like Quinn, Donald, Alec ect will make it hard for me to just forget or no longer root for them

I have already transitioned to the Chiefs from the Rams. I am going to start paying more attention to Jacksonville. If the Rams get the ok then Jacksonville should definitely be approved.

I stuck with the cards when they left stl and they were run much worse than the rams at the time and had less success.

I'm sure there will be a bunch of local fans that remain rams fans as long as they keep the rams name.

Live in StL area. I've been to three NFL games over the past 20 years. Two times, the tickets were given to me.

I was a fair weather TV fan during the Super Bowl years. I knew several Ram players through our church back then. Hate indoor football. Don't like the NFL.

Losing the Rams is not an issue and saves taxpayer money. Bye.

College ball is where it's at. Mizzou season ticket holder for a decade. Let's get going Odom. M-I-Z!

If the Rams go to LA, that also means Chargers and Raiders aren't going there.

If St. Louis builds that 1.1 billion dollar stadium, not only Jacksonville, but other franchises will take interest.

I think the most sense is the Raiders moving to St. Louis.

As someone who's parents went to Super Bowl I, and season ticket holders as a kid, now living the past 30yrs in St. Louis, I could never ever root for the Raiders, but it would be an instant blood rivalry between KC and STL that would rival the Cubs-Cards.

As far as the Rams to LA. If Kroenke still just counts his money and keeps producing bad football teams, after the honeymoon with LA is over, Southern Californians will go back to doing the other dozen fun things to do there (surfing, skiing, dirt biking, other sports, etc.). See LA Raiders - 1980s.

Honestly I think this is just poustering by Kronkie. The Chargers are for sure out the door. The Raiders have zero chance of getting a stadium done in Oak. STL has the best chance of getting a stadium done. So the league will take both he chargers and Raiders over the Rams. Either way Kronkie is gonna make bank bc he owns the land that is best for a stadium.

I used to think Kroenke was posturing, but no. He sees gold in them thar hills of LA and is busy burning his STL bridges.

Here's a really good article on STL and Kroenke. And an interesting Browns fan video.

I don't want to see the Rams leave, but there's no way in hell the rest of the state should have to pay taxes to build them a stadium. That franchise is simply not worth it.

When the Royals and Chiefs renovated their stadiums simultaneously, it was funded locally not by the state.

Kroenke has burned every bridge on his way out of the state...I may be done regardless...dream scenario would be the Rams stay in St. Louis, and Kroenke buys a different team. Even if they're forced to stay on a year to year lease, with how Kroenke blasted the area for no real reason other than to make it seem like it would be impossible for him to go back, I think a lot of fans are done with the Rams no matter where they play next year.

It's not like fans would have to give up a winner....

I thought it was just the city of STL. They want the STATE tax payers to fund the stadium??

It's not the state, just the city of st louis which has only 300,000. That's where I feel sorry for them, when the other 2.5 million(stl county) people get to just sit back and wait.

As long as it's local funding I'm fine with it, but Governor Nixon seems hellbent on getting the state involved. Nixon just blows tax dollars left and right

I still believe the raiders or the Davis family will be in STL. Maybe they trade ownership of the raiders to Kroenke to go to LA and for the Rams name to stay in STL.

The Raiders are the second team in their market so TV and miscellaneous revenue for the bay area just gets moved around and not out.

The Chargers may move up the I-5 because I'm guessing the NFL believes they will hold a big percentage of their base being 2 hours away. Plus the owners get to share in the $400 million relocation fee for the rams and the chargers.

They can offer the Davis family a discounted relocation fee or no fee at all if they are willing to move to STL into a precious new stadium. Plus making the STL team a AFC West team they get a great rivalry with KC.

If not, I'll be a Chiefs fan. Lot of Mizzou grads on the team.

Will Leitch, Sports on Earth: "It is likely the city of St. Louis could have built him a ten billion dollar stadium, with Kroenke's picture on every door and a golden calf idol in his honor, while he was feted with on-demand footrubs from the mayor and all his assistants whenever he desired, and Kroenke would have still turned them down. I've never seen an owner more hellbent on leaving."

frick 'em, I'm out. Never gave a shite about LA sports before. Sure as hell not going to now. Might casually support the Chiefs, but it just won't be the same.
