Are we really about to drop 3 games in a row because of free throw shooting?

Free throw shooting had nothing to do with this beat down.

It kinda did. When Kentucky stretched it out at the end of the 1st half we dropped 5-6 FT opportunities.

I’m more concerned about th defense the last 3 games. Mississippi and Kentucky are not good shooting teams and Mizzou gave both too many open 3’s.

Yeah. That’s been much more concerning than the FT shooting.

Our legs. If I'm Zo I'm running VERY light practices from now on. The short rotation is catching up to us I believe

I agree...think the short roster is starting to catch up with the team. Tired legs lead to poor defense and free throw shooting.

Yup. Roster just isn’t deep enough towards the tail end of the season.

Zo needs another class or two.

More depth with more ball handlers and he'll be fine. The real players on the team are just young and foul prone. They will get better with time. Next year we just need ball handlers and a shooter or two to step up to replace JB and KR.

eta - I should have said we have real players that are young. Obviously Barnett and Robertson are real players 100%.

I’m pretty confident that Cuonzo will get good replacements for the seniors. They won’t be as good as KR and JB. Cuonzo will build a more balanced team next season around Jontay and Tilmon.

I believe this too especially at guard.

MPJ needs to get ready in a hurry

My questioning of the defense was wrong according to this thread.

Writing up the Vandy scout now and taking a look at #Mizzou's 3-point defense. Did you know Mizzou gave up FEWER uncontested 3s than normal against Ole Miss and UK? Or that those teams shot 27.5 percent on contested catch-and-shoots.
