I know but a guy can dream. BO shows up at feeding time one evening, helps Justin do chores. Eats dinner with his family, they sit on the porch drinking sweet tea and BO asks him to come help bring back MU to respectability. Justin takes a deep breathe and let's it out. He says on one condition, that I do it my and when it comes time to tear a guy a new one, I can. You back me 100% and let me turn these boys into men, even if I have to put the fear of God into all of them

You can always be a fan of Northwest, Bearcats are always looking for good fans. You will have to put up with winning. 5 National Championships are nice!!

Jones just a hop, skip, and a jump away down in Jefferson City. He would be a good hire too.

I read where Gabe DeArmond said, he talked with Justin Smith 6 weeks ago, and that he wanted to hang with his family on the farm, and had no interest in coaching full time.

Maybe he can be convinced to step in for a year. Reevaluate in December. We need him now.

We just can't hand Dline Zou over to some leftover coach or even worse, a disloyal coach who would leave his team at this time.

We need Smith or Jones. Alumni and NFL guys who would not at all look like a desperation move. Plus both are well respected.

My dark horse candidate is Rich Wright at Northwest. He is the DC there and DL coach. Guy is good. Regardless of level. Wren Baker is the connection there

Ouch!!! I mean we need someone who understands the DL coach is not only coaching a position but is also coaching our identity.

They still suck something awful, but there's not much that can be done with the Lincoln university football program. There's little to no community support or interest. I will say that there has been signs of life over there on Lafayette St. though.
