Well, I am pleased overall by the #14 Mizzou Tigers in 2014

11-3 with another trip to the SEC title game was not really something I expected. I would have been content with 8 or 9 wins. Kudos to HCGP and the staff for a great season.

No doubt. I said anywhere between 6 and 9 wins going into the season, not knowing exactly what to expect. As frustrating as it was at times, it was a fun year and they far exceeded my expectations. The team wasn't always pretty but man they were gritty and just did what they had to do to win. It goes right up there with one of the best jobs I think GP and the staff have ever done.

And yes, a very nice season for what was a rebuilding / high turnover year.

I'm definitely proud of this team. They were scrappy as heck and found a way to win. I was most impressed with Pinkel and what I believe is his coaching evolution to play the teams strengths and take calculated gambles. He appears more sure of himself now than ever before.
