I think Odom puts the brakes on once the game is decided and tries not to embarrass his buddy. A lot of backups get playing time and game experience which is always a plus.
While some folks bitch and moan up a storm about obvious mismatches like this they give a nice paycheck to the smaller school and an opportunity for the bigger school to get people some game time who otherwise might not see the field.
