It’s a good matchup. Kentucky only attempted 9 passes today.

If Hall is back Mizzou should be able to score enough to force Wilson to make plays.

We haven’t started the season 4-3 under Odom either. Do better. Also psst we been good against the run. That dingbat Kentucky has as a QB has to beat us. Which kinda worrys me.

Knox, Hall and Albert O could really challenge a secondary

And Kentucky hasn’t started 6-1 before either.

We gave up 200 rushing yds to a team yesterday that was missing their best running back. Some of our “rushing defense ranking” is based on the fact that no one has to run when they play us.

Do I think we are capable of beating Kentucky? Yes. Anyone who says they know what this team is going to do is just lying.

I’m confident it will be a close game.

Massey ratings has us favored by 1 point.

Odom never beating Kentucky and Kentucky having their best season in forever leads me to believe that Mizzou loses.

I do however, think it'll be close.

Kentucky - 24
Mizzou - 21

A lot of those 200 rush yards were in garbage time when Mizzou had backups on the field.

Snell will get his yards, there’s no doubt about that. To me the key is getting Hall back at 100%. If he’s back Mizzou can turn the game into a shootout and see if Wilson can actually pass.

I think it's set up on tee for Odom to beat them.

It's a home game for us and they play Georgia next week and could be looking ahead a little.

I'm expecting Odom to find a way to lose. Maybe defer the kick in the 1st and 2nd half.

Hope I'm wrong.

200 yards on 43 carries. Their longest run was 21 yards. I'll take that all day vs Kentucky.

Difference in Memphis and Kentucky is that Memphis has a passing threat, Kentucky threw for 18 yards Saturday, 18

Dooley is done trying to pad Locks resume. Mizzou runs the ball and throws to the TE downfield. Mizzou by 20.

I certainly hope you are right. Three yards and a cloud of dust offensively keeps our sorry-arse pass defense off the field.

MU went predominantly with a two deep look yesterday and still held Memphis to two yds less than their season average rushing yds per carry in the first half. The second half was a glorified scrimmage.

Walters did some slick things in the first half with Lee. It forced White to get to his 3rd read and gave the line a little time to move him off the spot, forcing several errant throws. Yesterday was the lowest completion % and 2nd worst passing efficiency day in the 3 years Norvell has been the coach.

Damn you mean we might need our Pass D to show up to win, if so we are fricked. This team has decades of loosing to garbage QB's over the years.

Kentucky has a good defense. Lock will hold the ball since his receivers can't get wide open. Hall needs to play and play well. Memphis was yet another sloppy game with penalty after penalty. Expect that and more turnovers against Ky. They had no trouble with SC or Fl. They beat SC easily and you know how our game with them went.

and that

Would not f**king count on it

Kentucky was able to sit in one deep looks vs UF and MSU because of their issues throwing beyond the sticks. They were able to sit in two deep looks against SC and Vandy because of their problems at the line of scrimmage. aTm was the only team that could challenge them vertically and create conflict. Kentucky responded by bracketing the deep routes and left a lot of space for the RBs and TEs to work.

I expect a lot of two deep looks from Kentucky. They have been stout against the run but they aren't Alabama at the second level and pulling Darius West away from the LOS only benefits the running game.
