Even WSU knows they won't keep Marshall forever and the funny thing is there is no love between WSU fans/coach and the chicken hawk fans/coach. Since Mizzou did not hire Self, when they could of should of.....Marshall going to Mizzou might actually happen for reasons that will never be expressed.

Apparently everyone is out so I got an idea...how about no head coach. Let the players make the call on the floor. Think of all the recruits you could get if they get to dictate their playing time?

Underwood backed out of the Marshall job b/c he mistakenly thought he was getting Marshall's (GM) job at WSU. After we hire GM on Friday, WSU hires Underwood the following week.

Following a live chat by Dave Matter. Says Sundvold is on the outside. Says Alden is relying on a search firm. Reading between the lines Alden comes off as a clueless bureaucrat mostly interested in covering his own arse.

I'm not sure what Sundvold would say that would make Matter sure of that that also couldn't be explained away simply as Sundvold not sharing what's actually happening.

Alden said he was not using a search firm this time around. He is likely using 3rd parties for back channel contacts and background vetting only.
