I'll admit it, I'm probably riding way too much on emotion right now, but how I see what we know of our schedule so far:

HOME (9-2)
W Iowa State
W UCF
W Arky
W Auburn
W Georgia
W Mississippi State
W Ole Miss
W Tennessee
W A&M
L Florida
L Kentucky

ROAD (5-4)
W Alabama
W LSU
W Mississippi St
W Ole Miss
W Vandy
L Arkansas
L Kentucky
L South Carolina (I admittedly don't know how much they lose though)
L A&M

NEUTRAL (1-0)
W Illinois

ADVOCARE INVITATIONAL(3-0 or 2-1)
We only play 3 of them but if we were to play each of them
W Long Beach State
W Marist
W Nebraska
W Oregon State
W St. John's
L West Virginia

Add in 6 or 7 more wins against lay ups at home and I have us 23-7 to 25-6 or so.

Where am I drinking the kool aid? Where am I underestimating the change in talent level we're used to seeing?

Bama might be a stretch on the road especially after having a higher ranked class than Mizzou and S. Carolina lost a lot of players off their Final 4 team.

Yeah, I was too lazy to look up what SC lost. I do think think Martin makes any game hard to win. We'll see about Bama. The problem I run into there is everything I say about them could just as easily be said about Mizzou. i.e. Just not sold yet because they were so bad last year. Just not sold on the coach yet.

Mizzou will have a higher rated class than Bama after Jontay reclassifies.
The goal should probably be top 4-5 in the SEC and an NCAA tournament appearance. Once there, Mizzou has enough talent to make a run.

I'll say 8-3 And 6-3. Beat Illinois. Win the invitational.

18-6

Drop one at home we shouldn't.

23-7

This.....we'll be 57-0 at seasons end. We'll keep playing games wanting someone to beat us but it'll never happen.

How the hell does Bama get 2 top 25 players and 4 top 100 players ? Honest question. I didn't know Bama BB existed.

Team should win 20 minimum IMO with the chance for more and I'll leave it at that.

18 wins on a low

22 on the high.

Not expecting perfection CM's first year.

Still excited as hell to see this fresh start for MU BB.

That was and is the same projection I was going to make. 18-22 wins. And most of those will come later in the year. The first month or so will be hit and miss. I think it will take awhile for the freshmen and the others to mesh, and for everyone to get on the CM page. New coach, new players, usually adds up to January before good things happen on a consistent basis.
