Man, this dude just can't quit talking. Don't think he made many friends during the protests (I agreed mostly with what he said there though) and now he just put on an article saying 90% of the team was hungover for bowl game practices and he's getting hammered by his ex teammates.

1984 Rose Bowl Ucla vs. Illini. Illini get their arse handed to them. A friend of mine's cousin was on that team. He said they did not have a chance from when they stepped off the plane. Playboy mansion, beach everyday, partying when they could. The game was a second thought. T.J. is not saying anything that is not true

But what good does it do? Some things just better left in the locker room.

I don't think whether it's true or not has anything to do with why he's pissing of his teammates

Don't want some one talking about how you got shite faced the night before bow practice? Then don't get shite faced the night before bowl practice. I have no problem with stories as long has they're true.

What happens in Texas Should stay in Texas. It's a guy code thing. But pride should come into it and not waning to have your arse kicked against Navy. So don't do stupid shite.. He's getting Sean Coffeyish

If anyone had a chance to watch the NFL Network Football Life on Dick Vermeil, one of his UCLA players tells a story about how the players were mad that Vermeil was working them too hard in the practices leading up to the game vs. #1 Ohio State. They wanted him to back off and let them enjoy their bowl experience.

Vermeil calls a team meeting and ripped new assholes, preaching hard work and preparedness, asking when they're old and gray if they want to tell their children and grandchildren about the day they beat the best team in country in the Rose Bowl.

They kept up the grueling practice schedule and played the game of their lives crushing OSU.

Maybe that's where Moe is coming from.

I agree with this. It's their own damn fault.

Haha, guy code, really? If these guys pissed away the opportunity they had to go party one night that's on them and they made the choice to have that made public

I agree, there are no honor codes anymore... If Moe can make a buck peddling Tiger History(which is all he is doing). So be it.

This is like saying he went to a bachelor party in Vegas and a bunch of the guys cheated on their wives. Unless your going to say specifically, why would you make everyone look bad (except himself, as he noted)? He's a self serving arse who doesn't care about his team.

The problem with bowl games is fact that in the end it didn't matter if we won against Navy. The playoffs are the only thing that matters. We need to get to a 16 team playoff and be done with pointless bowl games.

If you wanna throw your teammates under the bus just so people will pay attention to you you're no teammate of mine

Whoop de friggin do. If you watched that game, it did not matter how well or bad the team practiced. Coaching and inflexible tactics (WDWWD) lost that game.

That's a slippery slope. Some things are just better kept in house. I get what you're saying and don't feel sorry for those who were hungover because of what you said but TJ can still be a douche for having said it

The way I read Stec's tweet he was blaming the players too, not his WDWWD coaching. I could be wrong.

It's funny. For the most part we love when people are candid and tell it like it is. Then when they do, people actively start tearing them down. I'm not defending Moe, just making an observation.

I'm not sure what his end game is in airing things warts and all, but he's not going to have a friend left in the game before too long.

You are right, I read it wrong. I do like his candidness but don't throw your teammates under the bus. Don't need to point out that you weren't there.

This.

Some people have their own agendas and do not want to hear the truth. I'm all for the truth, period. Ugly or beautiful...let her rip tater chip. Regardless of the truth's impact.

So TJ, I'll keep clicking on your articles as long as I know they are truthful and based upon fact. Submit a lie or half-truth, then you will lose me.
