Wow. Nice debut thus far.

Now please recruit some 4* OLs to protect your meal ticket.

GP already said Lock's performance would have no affect on who starts. We are fricked!!!

completely solid and now suddenly it appears we do have receivers who can catch the ball.

Meanwhile Abbington comes in for a 7 yard carry only to be banished to the sidelines for another 10 series...

one issue at a time I guess, figuring this football out is hard work..

He might be tarred, feathered, and run out of town. I'm not joking.

I think that is coach-speak. He flat refused to discuss personnel with Gervino right after the game. But I tend to think it's truly not about Lock's performance for him. It's about Mauk's transgressions.

I give Pinkel credit for doing stupid things all the time, which he does, but not even GP is that stupid...

I hope....

You just know Pinkel is plotting how to screw this up. He just won't admit Mauk is not the QB for this team. It will be an interesting week.

Nah, from what I can surmise, Mauk is done.

There are some things happening.

I think they're still trying to figure out how to deal with what's going on.

Nope.

I'm just reading between the lines.

No doubt it is. But if people were bothered by the booing three weeks ago, could you imagine the stadium ruckus if Pinkel ran Mauk out there next weekend? Good lawd!

You guys are using what Mauk was allegedly rumored to maybe, possibly selling if you think GP starts Mauk next week

OK, remember that when Pinkel tries to prove he's smarter than everyone else.

If Mauk starts over Lock next week there will be more than booing. People might flat out boycott the team. The national media would have a field day with that as well.

Honestly, if it was just a 1 week thing it would have been labeled as such.

This sounds like something much bigger.

yea no doubt he prefers to do the same stupid thing until it eventually works and then try and convince us all it was a good idea all along, but I don't seriously believe Andy Hill or Josh Henson are big enough "yes men" to go along with ever subbing out Lock again. Those two should have enough pride in their work and what they do to say "ok Gary, I understand where you are coming from on this, but,, you are wrong".

at this point I don't think it even matters, if Mauk had been suspended for an unpaid campus parking ticket or barking at the lunch lady in cafeteria line, the job is now Drew Locks, and it's his to lose, not the other way around.
