So our favorite ex-STL HS coach will probably be let go by LSU in the next few weeks.

Hopefully he stays the frick away from St Louis.

Why they waiting? And overall he didn't do any damage.

I don't know. I think they expected him to be a better recruiter.

With their defensive problems, some coaches will definitely get axed.

Meanwhile, here at Arkansas, we will almost certainly keep the OL coach who has been, at the very best, a boil on the arse of college football.

Sigh.

Thank God y'all had a good season so at least one team I cheer for I can enjoy playing in a bowl game.

He was assigned Missouri but the HS NIL took care of that. I didn't think the DBs played all that badly. Their front 7 including Perkins was a real letdown.

I think Ark needs to fire the AD at this point.

He's fantastic at everything else though.

The thing is, if we lose our current AD then Muss and several other coaches are likely to seek greener pastures. We could go from being bad at football but good at everything else to being complete shite everywhere.

This begs the question: do you really care?

I would sacrifice literally every other Mizzou sport (maybe not including hoops... maybe) for a constantly successful football team.

Track and field, golf, swimming... I could care less.

You could even make the argument that if you become a winner in football, the other programs follow.

It's not an issue now and maybe never will be in the SEC. But with teams now wanting a bigger slice of the revenues based on football performance (FSU, Clemson, USC, UCLA) then it could be an issue.

The SEC probably won't have that issue because the payouts are the best in CFB reaching 100 million per school. Right now the focus is on dominating the playoff which our daddy ESPN has rights to.

Hey Arksulli,

Can we have those LBs you just put in the portal?

Somebody in the SEC is getting them. Rumor is Pooh was offered 350k by another SEC school. We stuck around 200k. Stupid move as Pooh is a dang good player and we always suck at LB.
