Figured we needed a thread for it in here. Just watched clips from first practice. New RBs looked the part. Coaches wearing Stevenson #40 shirts was a nice tribute to Norris Stevenson.

Nice. How’s the RB combo look?

Do we have a Thunder/lightning combo? I know the kid from App has speed to burn where if he had even a bit of the vision Cody has on those stretch runs, he houses them if he gets to the second level.

It's basically pre-practice drills, so you can't gather too much from it. However, I'm fairly confident that at least one of the top four RBs will step up this year.

Neither transfer has his # yet, but I believe Carroll is the bigger back and he looks legit.

It's taking a while for the Day 2 practice highlights to get posted, but this RockM article has a few tidbits.

Week 1 recap

I'm getting pretty pumped about Darris Smith. Just a hunch, but I would think athletically he would fit into the "Joker" DE spot, as would Johnny Walker. So, I can see those 2 basically owning all the reps there, eventually. So that begs the question of "Who plays opposite the Joker DE?" Nwari and the Mich St transfer (name escapes me) are my predictions there, but after 1 week of Spring ball that is a big-time guess on my part, but I'm bored.

I'm putting the highlights from days 2 and 4 on this post. I couldn't find one for day 3.

I've had no luck in finding a copy of the spring game. If anyone knows of a means to watch it, please post a link here.

I thought I saw that there would be a re-play later this month on the SEC Network.

Double check that but I think it's correct.

Spring game highlights

It's been discussed already, but the lack of tackling made this a glorified 7-on-7 scrimmage. Having said that, there is plenty to be jazzed about with this team. One of Drink's strengths is building a balanced roster and that much is evident. Lots of great athletes on the field.
