Exactly. Amari Cooper was Black's back-up until Black got hurt. Very much like DA and JM.

Couple notes...

Lock gained 20 pounds in the offseason. Admitted he wasn't ready to be the starter last year.

Burkett starting at LB with Lee behind him.

Hilton starting at safety.

Black was apparently very impressive in his first practice.

Was it just me or did Brantley look like he lost a lot of weight? Understandable if he did. Or it could have been the camera angle I saw

I'm guessing there was no press coverage allowed at today's practice? Haven't seen anything.

Looking like the starting OL if the season started tomorrow would be...

Howell/Owen
Crawford (when healthy)
Abeln
Pendleton
Adams

2nd team

Howell/Owen
Cuellar
Bailey
Harris
Rhodes (when he gets back to practice)

Abeln scares the shite out of me anywhere if he's playing.

Can I assume you mean this in a bad way for us?

There's a link on the PD Mizzou page but Odom said he's been impressed with the O-Line so far. Knowing what a "physical or tough guy" Odom is, this is encouraging.

I hope that's more than coach speak. All I can go by is what I saw from Abeln on the field last which was scary bad but I'll hold out hope that the poor play was because he wasn't a guard and because of poor coaching.

This certainly appears to be the case. No issues prior to Ricker.
